When using the Profit Rhino mobile app, you may have stumbled upon our option board section. Option boards allow you to have a set up of different quotes to give your customers pre-made when you show up on the call. This will help technicians cut down on time for jobs that are generally going to be the identical.

Most people use option boards to offer a "Good/Better/Best" option layout. Where you show your customers what would be a critical fix, what would be a moderate fix, and what would be the optimal fix for the long term.

In this article I'll be showing you how to rename option boards and how to edit their contents.

Renaming an Option Board

The first thing you'll need to do is log onto to the web poral at ProfitRhino.com, head over to the Option Builder section. Once there, click on the little pencil shaped icon to the far right of an option board. Once that's done, your screen should look something like this:

Fill out the forms and then click Save.

From here you can do the following:

  1. Click the task number of any task to edit that task if you need to make a quick adjust.

  2. Delete any task from an option board by clicking the trash can.

  3. Swap the position of any two options.

  4. Click the "Add Tasks" button to add any tasks from your price book to this option board.

After you've clicked "Add Tasks" you'll see the following:

When you're adding a task to an option board, you can choose which business types you're searching through, and you can search for a task by name, description, or task number. Once you've found the task you'd like to add, click the small green + icon, and your screen will look something like this:

Select which options you'd like to add this particular task to, and then click Add Task to Option and there you have it. You've edited the contents of your option boards. From this point, you can add, delete, or rename whatever else you'd like to in your option builder section.
