Sometimes you have multiple parts that are very similar to each other and adding them all to the book one at a time is going to be tedious. As such, Profit Rhino has a feature that will allow you to copy a task and then make minor tweaks in order to suit your needs.

In addition, sometimes you've added parts you're no longer using, or you accidentally created too many copies. We also have a feature that will allow you to delete those parts with no hassle.

The following image will demonstrate the first step to copying a part:

                                             COPYING PARTS (PART 1)

Head over to the parts tab, and click the page icon that's being point at above. Doing so should bring you to the following prompt:

                                              COPYING PARTS (PART 2)

When you copy a task, all the information that was present in the original version will be there except for the RHINO Part #. the RHINO Part # is actually what the task will be named, so you don't want two parts with the exact same name. Give it whatever RHINO Part #/Name you'd like and then make all the changes you need. After you've done that, hit save and you should see something similar to the following image.

                                                COPYING PARTS (FINAL)

As you can see, I've got my original task and the new task, denoted by having the exact same description.

But now I have a problem. I have an extra part that I don't need, and I want to get rid of it. The following image will demonstrate how to do that:

Simply go to the slider and make it in inactive state from the action section.

There you have it, you now know how to Copy & Delete parts. Good luck!
